American Stone Center – Shipping Policy

Acceptance

  • Inspect all items upon delivery before installation. Once installed, products are considered accepted in full, and no claims, returns, or refunds will be possible.

  • Orders and payments received are usually shipped the same day or next business day.


All Shipments Are Insured

  • Every shipment is fully insured. If it arrives visibly damaged, reject the shipment immediately and note damage on the delivery receipt.

  • Concealed damages must be reported within 1–2 business days of delivery with clear photos. Claims outside this timeframe cannot be honored.

  • If confirmed, we will replace the damaged material or provide store credit. Shipping for replacements will be covered only if the claim is filed correctly and on time.

  • ⚠️ Claims filed directly with the carrier without notifying us first void our assistance.


Custom Orders

  • Custom and special orders are final sale. They cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded under any circumstances.


Delivery Types

  • We primarily ship via FedEx Freight and FedEx parcel (other carriers may be used at our discretion).

  • A valid phone number is required. If the carrier cannot reach you, shipments may be held, returned, or redelivered at your expense.

  • Missed appointments, storage fees, redelivery fees (up to $350), or incorrect address fees ($250–$500) are the customer’s responsibility.

  • All freight shipments are curbside delivery. Customers must arrange moving products beyond curbside.

  • For commercial addresses, a dock or forklift must be available.


Shipping Regions

  • American Stone Center ships within the continental United States only. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, or APO/FPO addresses require a custom shipping quote.

  • Shipping costs are higher than standard consumer goods due to the weight and fragility of natural stone.


Self-Pickup Option

  • Customers may choose self-pickup from our Anaheim, CA warehouse.

  • Orders must be picked up within 7 business days of notification. Storage beyond this period may incur daily storage fees or cancellation with a 25% restocking fee.


Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

  • Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once the order has shipped. Tracking numbers activate within 24 hours.

  • Delays in tracking updates are normal and not grounds for cancellation, return, or chargeback.


Samples

  • Samples are swatches (typically 4"x4" or 6"x6"). Larger sample requests may be cut to smaller sizes for shipping purposes.

  • Samples do not guarantee exact match to full orders due to natural variation.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Items purchased under sale, clearance, custom, special pricing, or “as-is” condition are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.


Force Majeure Clause

  • American Stone Center is not liable for shipping delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, including natural disasters, strikes, supply chain interruptions, or carrier delays.


Customer Responsibility & Agreement

By completing your purchase, you agree to the following:

  • To inspect all materials upon delivery and file claims within the allowed timeframe.

  • To accept full responsibility for shipping costs related to missed appointments, incorrect addresses, storage fees, or returns-to-sender.

  • That natural variations in color, tone, veining, and texture are not defects and cannot be claimed for refund or chargeback.

  • That once material is installed, all claims are null and void.

  • That filing a chargeback with your credit card company for reasons not covered under this policy constitutes a breach of contract, and we will contest it with documentation.
