American Stone Center – Terms of Service

By accessing our website or purchasing from American Stone Center, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms are intended to protect both you, the customer, and American Stone Center.


1. General Use

  • By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted our Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy in full.

  • American Stone Center reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.


2. Product Disclaimer – Natural Stone Variations

  • Natural stone is a product of nature; variations in color, veining, tone, texture, size, and thickness are normal and not defects.

  • Product photos, website images, and samples are for reference only and may not represent the exact shipment received.

  • By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations as inherent characteristics of stone. No claims, disputes, returns, or chargebacks will be accepted on the basis of natural variation.


3. Orders & Cancellations

  • Orders are considered final once processed.

  • Orders canceled:

    • Before packing → subject to 5% cancellation fee.

    • Before shipping → subject to 10% cancellation fee (or store credit, no fee).

    • After fulfillment/packing → subject to 25% restocking fee.

  • Orders placed on hold at the customer’s request and later canceled are also subject to a 25% restocking fee.


4. Shipping & Delivery

  • American Stone Center ships via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other reliable carriers.

  • All shipments are insured against damage in transit. Customer must inspect goods upon delivery and note any damages on the delivery receipt.

  • Claims for visible or concealed damage must be reported within 24–48 hours with photos. Claims outside this window will not be accepted.

  • Lost or stolen packages after a carrier confirms delivery are not the responsibility of American Stone Center. Customers must file claims directly with the carrier.

  • Redelivery fees, storage fees, or incorrect address charges imposed by carriers are the customer’s responsibility.


5. Returns & Refunds

  • Returns must comply with our Return Policy.

  • Customer is responsible for all shipping charges both ways unless the return is due to our error.

  • Returns for color/shade/variation dissatisfaction are not permitted.

  • All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, unless otherwise stated.


6. Samples

  • Samples are small swatches only and do not guarantee exact representation of a full shipment. By purchasing, you acknowledge this limitation.


7. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • By purchasing from American Stone Center, you agree not to file chargebacks or payment disputes related to:

    • Natural stone variations.

    • Shipping delays, carrier damages, or lost packages.

    • Restocking fees or return shipping costs.

  • All disputes must be handled directly with American Stone Center.

  • Any chargeback filed without following our claim process will be vigorously contested with proof of signed/accepted terms, photos, and carrier documentation.


8. Limitation of Liability

  • American Stone Center is not liable for installation costs, labor, incidental or consequential damages under any circumstances.

  • Once material is installed, it is deemed accepted in full and no claims will be honored.


9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in Orange County, CA jurisdiction.
